All vehicles will have a purchase price posted on this web site as well as on the windshield of each vehicle. Each vehicle will have a date when available to purchase. The first person to meet the posted price of the vehicle and present a minimum 10% non-refundable check can purchase the vehicle. If more than one individual is present at the same time to purchase the same vehicle, both people will complete a bid form and the higher of the bids will be accepted. You may also bid less then the posted price by completing a vehicle bid form and submitting it at the Surplus Property Office or PTS office. All bids will be opened and considered five working days after the vehicle posted date of sale. The University of Pittsburgh reserves the right to reject any bid that is less then purchase price established. Buyers must pay in full and transfer the vehicle title within five working days or forfeit their deposit. If after five working days, the vehicle is not sold, it will also be available to the public for purchase.
